The German Foreign Ministry announced that US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, will attend the Berlin Conference on Libya on June 23, according to Al Arabiya.
Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Al-Manqoush and her American counterpart, Anthony Blinken, stressed the importance of holding national elections on December 24.
This came in a phone call between Al-Manqoush and Blinken, according to what was reported by the US State Department, where they stressed the need for the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement signed on October 23, including the immediate withdrawal of all foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the United States is committed to increasing diplomatic engagement to enhance international efforts to support progress in Libya, as he put it.
