The Syrian "SANA" news agency said that the US forces removed yesterday evening, Tuesday, a convoy of trucks loaded with stolen grain from Syrian territory to northern Iraq, through the illegal Al-Waleed crossing.
The agency quoted local sources from the village of Al-Suwaydiyah in the Yarubiyah countryside, northeast of Hasaka, as saying that "a convoy of 32 covered trucks and refrigerators left through the illegal Al-Waleed crossing, accompanied by a number of militia cars (SDF) towards Iraqi territory."
The agency added that "the American occupation has expelled hundreds of trucks loaded with stolen Syrian wheat and underground resources over the past months, in coordination with the (Qasd) militia supported by it, to Iraqi territory."
A video clip spread yesterday morning, Tuesday, showing the residents of the village of Tal Al-Maha in the Qamishli countryside in Syria, as they are about to expel an American patrol from the vicinity of the village.
A resident of the village was heard chasing the American soldiers and addressing them, saying: "Do not come to our lands, this is our lands... Get out of here... Get in your vehicles and leave... Your tanks do not frighten us."
Another citizen addressed the American soldiers in a threatening tone, saying: "You stole our oil and our wheat, get out of here."
Another video clip showed how the villagers later threw stones at the soldiers' vehicles, forcing them to leave.
