Mohamed Salem: Zamalek will not stand on my sassi, and the curse of injuries stopped me with the contractors

Mohamed Salem, the former Arab Contractors and Zamalek striker, commented on Ferjani Sassi’s departure from the White Castle at the end of the current season, and Salem said in statements to the “Be On Time” program: “The Zamalek club will not stand on anyone, Ferjani is an influential player, but Zamalek will not stand on anyone and great players.” They retired and Zamalek continued, and this is something that should not grieve the fans of Zamalek and it is an honor for any player who wears the Zamalek shirt without underestimating Sassi, and we wish him success whether he continues or leaves the club.

He added: Injuries affected me this season, but I recovered and I hope that I will be ready in the coming period to participate with the team. The pause period came at an appropriate time, because I was not 100% ready and I hope after returning to be with the team and get out of our current position.

He continued: I did not have success after the brilliance, I suffer injuries and I am trying to control my nerves to return, and I hope luck smiles at me in the coming period.

Regarding the decline of the contractors in the current season, Salem said: Last season, we presented a distinguished performance and finished it in fourth place, but we encountered misfortune and success. We started with many Corona injuries among the players and this affected us because the beginnings are important for any team, and we are now striving to solve the situation and remedy the situation, and in the second round We didn't lose a game and I hope to continue.

He added: All players look at Al-Nahhas as a friend of ours before he became a coach, and the club stuck to his survival, a good step from the management, and he deserves better than that.

He concluded: I did not get the full opportunity while I was in Zamalek, and I was influential in the minutes I participated in, and I learned a lot from this experience.
