Raouf Abdel Qader, General Manager of Sports Activity at Al-Ahly Club, announced the signing of the player Mohamed Mohsen to join the ranks of the first team of the “Al-Ahly plane men” starting from next season.
The former Zamalek player signed contracts to join the "Al-Ahly plane men" for 4 seasons, in the presence of Mohamed Moselhi, the team's coach.
Abdel-Qader added that the contract with Mohsen came after his nomination by the technical staff of the "Al-Ahly plane men" and obtaining the approval of the club's board of directors, in light of the efforts made by the council to support all sports teams in the club.
Abdelkader indicated that there is great interest in providing all the requirements of the technical equipment, including deals, preparation camps, and others, in preparation for the next season in order to achieve the best results and compete to win all championships.
And Mohamed Mohsen, who recently joined the ranks of the first "men" volleyball team at Al-Ahly club, expressed his happiness to wear the team's shirt, pointing out that he is looking forward to a distinguished performance and to be a real addition to the "men of the Al-Ahly plane" in the new season.
He explained that he did not hesitate at all to accept Al-Ahly's offer, despite having offers from European clubs, especially as he knows very well the extent of the popularity and history of the club, and the record successes of the "Al-Ahly Volleyball Men" team, and that he seeks to be a member of the club's volleyball system.
Muhammad Mohsen said: "Today, I signed the playing contracts for the "Al-Ahly volleyball men" in the presence of Raouf Abdelkader and Muhammad Moselhi, who are two legends in volleyball, and I consider this the beginning of a very important experience during which I wish success."
Mohsen indicated that his ambitions with the “Al-Ahly plane men” are limitless, and he aspires to achieve all championships with the team and to have a role in breaking records and writing a great history for himself in the Al-Ahly shirt, stressing that he strongly trusts that all the ingredients for success are within the club, and that playing Al-Ahly has an honor for any senior and a gateway to writing an honorable history of tournaments.
He added, "My relationship is distinguished with all the players of the "men of the Al-Ahly plane", especially since we are together in the camps of the national team, which makes me very optimistic that I will get along quickly in the atmosphere, and Captain Mohamed Moselhi is good at dealing with the players from a psychological point of view."
Mohsen stressed that the competition within the "Al-Ahly men's plane" team will not be easy in light of the presence of a group of the best players in his position, so he will fight to give his best in order to be a real addition to the team. He also expected that the competition in the next season will be strong among all clubs.
