The Palestinian Foreign Ministry: The escalation of the occupation’s attacks in Jerusalem aimed at confiscating life


The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that the attacks carried out by the occupation forces in the occupied city of Jerusalem express an official Israeli attempt to confiscate the most basic Palestinian human rights and deny him even his right to be present in his city or in a peaceful social gathering.

 

The ministry condemned in a statement today, Wednesday, reported by the Palestinian News Agency, the campaign of intimidation and provocative attacks practiced by the occupation forces, their police and their various branches, and settlers against the citizens of Jerusalem, which has escalated since the beginning of the month of Ramadan.

 

She explained that the occupation's attacks aim at confiscating all forms of Arab Palestinian life in occupied Jerusalem, and that the widespread Israeli occupation and Judaization of all aspects of life in the city, and preventing the gathering of dozens of Jerusalemite youths to celebrate Ramadan nights or hold cultural, economic or religious activities, is a flagrant violation. The principles of human rights, including freedom of worship and religious rites.

 

The Ministry warned against dealing with these attacks as transient events that can be adapted to, or condoned, under the pretext that they have become routine and do not require stopping at them, or taking a stance towards them.
