Mohamed Issa, a member of the Poultry Division, said that the prices of poultry today, Saturday 19-6-2021, are relatively stable, and the kilo on the farm "white poultry" recorded 27 pounds per kilo, while consumer prices recorded 29-32 pounds per kilo.
Issa added, in exclusive statements to “The Seventh Day,” that the prices of white eggs are at 37 pounds on the farm, and the price for the consumer ranges between 40-42 pounds per carton, noting that egg prices are witnessing a relative increase due to the high temperatures, which affects the quality of eggs.
The General Division of Poultry Wealth in the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce confirmed the stability of poultry prices during the current period, and that the sector succeeded in achieving a production boom, which led to achieving self-sufficiency.
