Petra: 4 injuries among the Jordanian security forces while dealing with riots


The Public Security Directorate announced that four members of the security force dealing with riots in the Naour Brigade were injured, and they are under treatment.


The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate said, according to the official Jordanian news agency, "Petra", that a security force dealt yesterday evening with riots, burning vehicles and shooting in the air by a group of people in the Naour area, and these actions resulted in the injury of four of them. Public security men, and they were taken to the hospital, and they are under treatment.


The media spokesman confirmed that the security force is still dealing with a number of rioters and has not allowed them to break the law, infringe and disrupt the course of public life, and they will be dealt with firmly.


The Jordanian Ministry of Interior has reiterated that it is not allowed to hold any gatherings or events or build poetry houses in violation of the law, in light of calls to hold events on Sunday in the manner of gatherings that took place during the recent period.


An official source in the ministry said today, Saturday, that the relevant agencies will deal with this matter in accordance with the law and in a manner that preserves societal peace, the security and safety of citizens and the principle of the rule of law.
