More than 13 terrorists were killed in Iraq this June

The Iraqi security forces killed more than 13 terrorists at different levels of terrorist groups during the month of June.

 

A spokesman for the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service, Sabah al-Numan - according to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Sunday, said that the outcome of the operations during this month resulted in the killing and liquidation of more than 13 terrorists at different levels of terrorist gangs, as well as the arrest of a number of terrorists. He pointed out that Operation Black Earth was carried out by the agency, in cooperation with the Peshmerga forces, and in coordination with the Joint Operations Command, explaining that there is high coordination with the army aviation.

 

On the other hand, the Iraqi Military Intelligence Directorate managed to arrest 8 infiltrators from Syria, west of Nineveh Governorate.

 

The Directorate stated - in a statement carried by the Iraqi (Alsumaria News) channel - that "based on accurate intelligence information that confirmed the presence of a number of infiltrators from Syrian territory towards our lands through smuggling and with the help of thermal cameras, the Military Intelligence Division detachments in Division 15, in cooperation with the Regiment, were able to The first was the (71st) Infantry Brigade, who set a tight ambush for the eight infiltrators... and arrested them in the Gilbarat area of ​​Rabia district, west of Nineveh Governorate.

 

The directorate indicated that the infiltrators came with the help of a smuggler, stressing that they were referred to the concerned authorities to take legal measures against them.

 

In this context, the Iraqi Ministry of Interior arrested a leader of the "ISIS" organization and the maknae (Abu Rahma) in Salah al-Din Governorate.

 

The ministry stated - in a statement reported by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) - that "according to accurate intelligence information, the Iraqi Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency's detachments were able to arrest a terrorist in Salah al-Din Governorate, who is wanted according to the provisions of Article (4 / terrorism) for belonging to gangs."
