Feryal Ashraf qualifies for the final of the French International Karate Championships


Faryal Ashraf, a karate player, succeeded in qualifying for the final of the French championship qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics, after defeating her Canadian opponent 3-1 in the semi-finals of the competitions.


Mohamed Ramadan, the national team player, lost to the Kosovo player with a score of 0-1, in the round of 16, and therefore Ramadan is waiting for the Kosovo player to qualify for the consolation round.


Mohamed Ramadan had defeated the Taiwan player in the first match, and qualified for the second round, then he beat the players of Slovenia 9-1, then Romania 1/0, and qualified for the round of 16 before losing to the Kosovo player.


The team’s list in the tournament includes 6 players, and they are Ahmed Ashraf Shawky (men’s kata), Abdullah Mamdouh (-75 kg), Mohamed Ahmed Ramadan (-84 kg), Sarah Assem (women’s kata), Yasmine Hamdi (55 kg), Faryal Ashraf (-68 kg), and the team’s delegation in the championship is headed by Mohamed Dahrawi, President of the Federation, and with him are coaches Hani Qeshta, Mohamed Abdel Rahman, and Mahmoud Hani.
