Wales coach Robert Paige revealed the official line-up with which he will play against Switzerland, which will be held at 3:00 pm today, Saturday, in the first group matches of the European Nations Cup "Euro 2020", at the "Baku Olympic Stadium".

The formation of Wales is represented by:

Goalkeeper: Danny Ward.

Defense Line: Chris Mbham - Joe Rodon - Davies.

Midfield: Conor Roberts, Ramsey, Joe Morrell, Norrenton.

Forwards: Bill - Harry Wilson - Daniel James.

The formation of Switzerland is as follows:

Goalkeeper: Sumer

Defense: Char, Akanji, Elvidi, Mbabwe

Midfield: Rodriguez, Xhaka, Frueller

Forwards: Shaqiri, Ambolo, Seferovic

Assistant coach Robert Page will take charge of the tournament in the absence of Ryan Giggs, who is accused of assaulting two women.

The Wales national team is placing its hopes on Gareth Bale, the Real Madrid winger, who previously presented an exciting tournament in 2016 and became one of its stars thanks to the high performance with which he managed to lead his country to the semi-finals.

"It's crucial, it's the first game and we need to get off to a good start," said Page, who has worked with the youth groups and is closely associated with them.

Giggs' assistant added, "They have a great personality, I worked with them on the U19 and U21 teams, so I know them very well and know their capabilities and they have contributed to the transition really smoothly, and thanks to them."

And Robert Page continued: "We have to perform in our usual way. Yes, we will face the best teams in Europe, but in recent months we have proven that we can compete with the best."

Switzerland, who reached the last 16 in the 2018 World Cup in Russia and two years earlier in France, are competing in the tournament with a cohesive squad that seeks to qualify from Group A, which also includes Turkey and Italy.

Coach Vladimir Petkovic's team lost one game in the qualifiers and in the presence of Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka and Liverpool playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri, the team has experience elements capable of dealing with this level of tournaments.

The team will rely on Borussia Monchengladbach's Brill Embolo, and Benfica's goalkeeper Seferovic in attack, but Petkovic will count on Shaqiri to add creativity.

"We respect our competitors, this is very important, but we are not afraid of any of them," said coach Vladimir Petkovic.
