Dissolving a cooperative consumer association for workers at a container company in Port Said

The Official Gazette published a decision by Dr. Ali Al-Moselhy, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, No. 56 of the year 2021 to dissolve and liquidate the Household Consumer Cooperative Association for employees of the Suez Canal Containers Company in Port Said.

The decision stipulated in Article Two that the Central Consumer Cooperative Union should initiate liquidation procedures in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 109 of 1975 regarding consumer cooperation.

The Minister also issued Decree No. 57 of 2021 regarding the liquidation of the Household Consumer Cooperative Association for the employees of the General Company of Silos in Port Said, the Consumer Co-operative Union, and the Central Consumer Co-operative Union to initiate the liquidation procedures in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 109 of 1975 regarding consumer cooperation.
