The Lebanese Ministry of Health also announced the registration of 748 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total number of people infected with the epidemic throughout Lebanon to 529,205 injuries that were proven through laboratory tests (PCR) that were conducted in Lebanese hospitals, accredited private laboratories and Rafic Hariri International Airport. In a statement, the Ministry indicated that 23 new deaths were recorded, bringing the number of deaths due to infection with the virus in Lebanon to 7368 cases, while 513 people are in intensive care units, in addition to 169 people on ventilators in hospitals.
The ministry stated that the number of laboratory tests conducted over the past 24 hours to detect infection with the virus amounted to 14,800 examinations, including residents inside Lebanon and arrivals through the airport.
